NEAL ROBERTS Obituary

Neal R. Roberts, 60, of Wilmington, Ohio died 10:40 AM, Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at his residence. His wife, Julie Carr Roberts, survives. Mr. Roberts was born November 4, 1950 in Clinton County, Ohio, son of the late W. A. "Bud" Roberts and Anna Reynolds Roberts. He was a 1969 graduate of Wilmington High School and a graduate of The Ohio State University. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1224 and the B.P.O. Elks 797. He was an avid golfer and card player. In addition to his wife, Mr. Roberts is survived by a son, C.J. Byrd of Charlotte, North Carolina; three daughters, Shelly Jones (Rob) Gilbert of Wilmington, Ohio, Sarah (Cory) Meyer of Hinesville, Georgia, and Donna Roberts of Wilmington, Ohio; two grandchildren, Madison Gilbert and Zachary Meyer; and his cousins, Bobby (Teresa) McDermott, David (Nancy) McDermott, Connie Ferguson, and Norma Gough. A celebration of Neal's life will be held from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 19, 2011 at MacD's, 1400 W. Locust Street, Wilmington, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cincinnati, 3601 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229-2298.
