Anna Mae Rosenow, 73, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Ohio Living Cape May. She was born April 24, 1949 in North Conway, New Hampshire, where the hospital was located, however, for her entire life, she would claim Fryeburg Maine as her hometown, and she loved it there. She is the daughter of Lt. Col. Addison D. Agle and Pauline Heath Agle. She married the absolute love of her life, Bernd Rosenow September 27, 1969, even though he was incredibly tall, and not her usual ‘type’.
Before becoming a wife to Bernie, and a mother to Brian and Courtney, she was a flight attendant, for TWA, where she had the joy of seeing the world, and meeting Bernie. Anna Mae retired from Peelle Law Office where she worked as a legal secretary for more than 20 years. She always considered the Peelle Office her second home, and genuinely loved her job, and especially all the people she worked with over the years. She was an active member of the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington where she served as an Elder. Her free time was spent spoiling her three granddaughters, and watching them play soccer and every single other activity they participated in.
She is survived by her daughter, Courtney (Jack) Williams of Lebanon, Ohio; three granddaughters, Piper Williams, Raegan Williams, and Jocelyn Williams; two sisters, Pam (Alan) Emery of Fryeburg, Maine and Kathy (Cliff) Lane of Dothan, Alabama; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins; an absurd number of adoring friends that loved her like family; and the sweetest dog on the planet, Oreo.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bernd, and her son, Brian M. Rosenow.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, August 24 2022 at the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington 840 Timber Glen Drive, followed by services at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday. Interment will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
