Barbara Delores (Deck) Harrison

Barbara Delores (Deck) Harrison, 74, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at the Laurels of West Carrollton.  She was born July 19, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert L. Deck Sr. and Mary Sabra Carter Michalovich.  Barbara was raised in New Vienna, Ohio by her late grandmother, Vivian M. Rambo Deck.  She was a 1969 graduate of East Clinton High School.

Barbara retired after 35 years of working for the U.S. Government, first for the Post Office and Wright Patterson Airforce Base, then as a procurement clerk for DESC and retired from DSCC in Columbus.  She loved  spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as dancing, playing bingo, and going to casinos in her free time.

She is survived by her children, Christopher (Amy) Harrison of Maineville, Ohio, Jillian (Josh) Bowman of Hilliard, Ohio, and Trisha (Tom) Hicswa of Moraine, Ohio; her grandchildren, Connor Harrison, Jacob Harrison, Taylor (Brandon) Marshall, Nick Dangel, Vincent Del Gardo, Ramsey Bowman, Vivian Bowman, Koen Hicswa, and Makaela Hicswa; one step-great-grandchild; her sister, Robin Hunter; one niece; and three nephews.

In addition to her parents and grandmother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert L. Deck Jr. and  sister, Susan Deck Rose.
