Bethany Lee Wiget, 33, of Hillsboro, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022. She was born November 10, 1988 in Wilmington, Ohio. Bethany attended Clinton Massie High School until senior year and then graduated from Belfast High School before attending Hocking College. She was baptized at the Wilmington Assembly of God.
Bethany worked in the auto parts industry prior to getting her CDL and becoming a truck driver for G & J Pepsi. She was an active member of the Port William Wranglers from 1996 until 2007 and was the Ohio State Fair halter showmanship grand champion for three years. She enjoyed horses, gardening, fishing, and being outdoors. Most importantly, she was a dedicated and loving mother.
Bethany is survived by her daughter, Ada Lee Wiget; mother, Debbie L. Keller (Charlie Gatton) Wiget of Washington C.H., Ohio; her father, Randy C. (Rhonda Nichols) Wiget of Seaman, Ohio; grandparents, George and Trisha Wiget and Betty Keller; aunts and uncle, Rachel (David) Adkins, Sherri Keller, and Stacy Hidy; cousins, Samantha Keller, Todd Stookey, Trevor (Amber) Keller, Kalista (fiancé, Michael Persson) Adkins, Kenton Adkins, Bridgette Keller, Scott (Valerie Laufer-Forsha) Forsha, and Andy Forsha; her boyfriend, Jeremy Robinson; her faithful dog, Maggie; and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Earl Keller, and uncles, Carl Keller, Eddie Keller, and Charles Keller.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Friday, September 23, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. A funeral service with Pastor Bill Bowman officiating will begin at 1:00 PM, Friday. Burial will be in New Antioch Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bethany’s memory may be made to Fifth Third Bank, 995 Rombach Avenue, Wilmington, Ohio to establish a trust fund for Bethany’s daughter.
