Betty Kinzer Gano, of Blanchester, formerly of New Vienna, Ohio, died at 6:00 PM, Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Laurels of Blanchester. She was born, June 10, 1924 in Clinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Roland H. and Dorothy Fisher Kinzer.
Betty, a homemaker, ran her own antique business and helped her husband with the dairy farm. She was a member of the New Vienna United Methodist, New Vienna Senior Citizens, and the Clinton County Historical Society. She had a great interest in genealogy and was a member of the Southern Ohio Genealogical Society. Betty was the valedictorian of her 1942 graduating class.
Survivors include daughters, Sybil Allen and Jennifer Tumbleson both of Wilmington; grandchildren, Gretchen Bradshaw, Tracy (Jerry) Runk, and Patty (Will) Blankenbeckler; great grandchildren, Hannah Tumbleson, Mikayla Tumbleson, Bailey Eakins, Penelope, and Will Blankenbeckler; sister-in-law Mabel Kinzer, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, George Glenn Gano, an infant daughter; a beloved grandson, Michael Joe Tumbleson; and a brother Bruce Kinzer.
A private graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Port William, Ohio.
