Obituary
Charles S. Davis Jr., 86, of Wilmington, Ohio went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 8, 2022. He was born March 29, 1935 in Washington D.C., son of the late Charles Stewart Davis Sr. and Mary Belle Graves Davis. He was a graduate of Falls Church High School in Falls Church, Virginia and served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Davis was a man of strong Christian faith. He loved going to car shows and swap meets and was passionate about building super chargers. He enjoyed music especially, the blues. Most importantly, Mr. Davis was a dedicated family man.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Julia M. Peters Davis, whom he married June 13, 1964; his son, Charles S. Davis III of Adams County, Ohio; and his daughter, Rebecca M. (Michael) Cooper of Wilmington, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. A graveside service at Dayton National Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
