Charles M. Jackson, 78, of Wilmington, died at his residence. His wife, Esther Jackson, preceded him in death December 25, 2003.
Mr. Jackson served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
He is survived by a son, Paul C. Smith of Cedarville, Ohio; five daughters, Betty Smith, of Cedarville, Ohio, Linda F. Smith of Dayton, Ohio, Jo Smith of Georgia, Myra L. Smith of Dayton, Ohio, and Ruth Wellington of Connecticut; numerous step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service with Betty Smith officiating will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, December 18, 2020 at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 49 Honor Guard.
