David Lee Howell

David Lee Howell, 83, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Ohio Living Quaker Heights in Waynesville.  His wife of 64 years, Carol Jean Howell, preceded him in death August 4, 2022.  They were married December 24, 1957.  Mr. Howell was born August 28, 1939 in Wilmington, Ohio, son of the late Arthur Lee Howell and Frances Faye Inlow Howell.  He was a 1957 graduate of Wilmington High School.

Mr. Howell worked many years at Cincinnati Milacron, beginning as an electrician and eventually retiring as a supervisor.  He was a member and past master of the F&AM Lodge 323 in Clarksville.  He was also a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati and St. Columbkille Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing.

Mr. Howell is survived by three sons, Chris (Michelle) Howell, Tim (Angi) Howell, and Brian (Lisa) Howell; a daughter, Susan (Brian) Bueno; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.  In addition to his wife and parents, a daughter, Denise Kirk, is preceded in death.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Monday, October 24, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.  Masonic and Scottish Rite services will be held at the conclusion of visitation followed by a service with Rev. Bernard J. Weldishofer officiating.  Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
