Obituary

Deborah Alcorn, 68, of Martinsville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at her residence.  Her husband, Russell Alcorn, preceded her death September 24, 2012.  They were married August 22, 1977.  She was born January 20, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert V. Ruff and Alta Pearl McClean Ruff.  She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Wilmington.

Deborah is survived by three sons, Russell “Rusty” (Renee) Riley, Glenn Todd Lanham, and Jimmy Alcorn; a daughter, Patience (Mark) Hively; three brothers, Dick (Sis) Ruff, Jim Ruff, and Jerry (Angie) Moore; four sisters, Barb (Ron) Knapp, Kathy (Wayne) Croucher, Carol Weast, and Joyce (Ron) Day; 10 grandchildren, Megan Riley, Shane Riley, Sammie Riley, Sterling Alcorn, Eli Lanham, Addison Lanham, Ariel Comberger, Kiley Comberger, Bradley Hively, and Brayden Hively; and two great-grandchildren, Chloe Riley and Callie Riley.

In addition to her husband and parents, a sister, Shirley Brund, and three brothers, Buck Wesley, Donald Wesley, and Bob Ruff, are preceded in death.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.  A funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM, Friday evening.  Interment will be in Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
