Dolly F. Black, 94, of Wilmington, Ohio died 8:30 AM, Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her husband, Charles L. Black preceded her in death in June 1994. She was born September 12, 1925 in Washington Court House, Ohio.
Mrs. Black retired from Clinton Memorial Hospital where she had worked as a nurse’s aide. She was a member of the New Antioch Church of Christ. She was loved by many.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathy (Lemenuel “Charles”) Ewing of Wilmington, Ohio; and a son, Charles R. (Jeanie) Black of Wilmington, Ohio; grandchildren, Susan Collins of Wilmington, Ohio, Jaqueline Morris of Wilmington, Ohio, Janette (Jason) O’Neil of Wilmington, Ohio, Angie DeGarmo of Circleville, Ohio, Rebecca (Juan Carlos) Delgado of Wilmington, Ohio, and Jason Ewing of Wilmington, Ohio; as well as her great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, a daughter, Dianne P. Black, a sister, Dorothy Baxla, and a grandson, Douglas A. Morris, are preceded in death.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, Thursday. Burial will in Clinton County Memory Gardens.
