Donald R Lorentz Sr.

Donald R. Lorentz Sr., 84, of Wilmington, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 4, 2026. He was born on October 22, 1941, in Edenton, Ohio, son of the late John and Madeline Lorentz.

Don graduated from Blanchester High School. He attended Bearing Precious Seed College in Milford, Ohio and Virginia Baptist College. He was an active member of Faith Baptist Church of Wilmington, Ohio.

Don is survived by his beloved wife, Evelyn (Adams) Lorentz, they were married for 62 years. His is also survived by his two children, Tine Sue (Tom) Shehorn of Wilmington, Ohio and Donald Ray (Jayme) Lorentz Jr. of Cleveland, Tennessee; his grandchildren, James Donald Lorentz, Evelyn Tina Moore, Daniel Ray Moore, Karyn Faith (Gabriel) Bedore, Elena Michelle (fiancé Allen Michael Oakes) Shehorn, and Paul James Shehorn.

Don’s family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Friday, January 9, 2026 at Faith Baptist Church, 1791 US Route 68 North, Wilmington, Ohio, followed by a funeral service with Pastor Jeff Zimmerman officiating at 11:00 AM.  Burial will be in Clinton County Memory Gardens.
