Donna Lou (Haynie) Haines

Donna Lou Haines, 73, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Friday, September 8, 2023 at her residence.  Her husband, Loren J. Haines, survives.  They were married on October 5, 1968. She was born March 27, 1950 in Blanchester, Ohio, daughter of the late Edward and Clara Catherine Walker Haynie.  She was a 1968 graduate of Wilmington High School.

Mrs. Haines retired from Clinton Memorial Hospital after many years as a supervisor in the dietary department.  She attended the Wilmington Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her daughter, Loretta Haines; her son, Charles Haines; a brother, Bill Haynie; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Ed Bratton, Carolyn Harris, Joyce Foster, Ester Brinkman, Martha Millikin, and Bill Kennedy; grandchildren, Chase Haines and Jeffrey Haines; an honorary grandson, Kyle White; a great-grandchild due in September; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sister-in-law, Jim and Shirley Haynie and Harold Haynie; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Ann Kennedy, Karen Haynie, Marion Harris, and Robert Foster.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.  A service with Dale McCamish officiating will begin at 1:00 PM, Saturday.
