Donna L (Ross) Shelman

Donna L. Shelman, 71, of New Vienna, Ohio passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025.  Her husband, Robert C. Shelman, preceded her in death February 9, 2022.  They were married September 28, 2002.  She was born February 21, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland, daughter of the late Richard Ross and Patricia Rowell Ross. 

Donna had a very magnetic personality as well as a quick wit and sharp tongue.  She was a huge lover of music and especially enjoyed Patsy Cline.  She was also an avid boxing fan and would often try to get friends and family members to spar with her.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Derek) Wilmoth of New Vienna, Ohio; a sister, Cheryl (Paul) Miller of Rindge, New Hampshire; her grandchildren Leah (Brenton Bowling) Mezzapelle, Aaron (Kayla) Cox, Dalton (Chasity) Wilmoth, Taylor (Dennis) Hodge, Brooklyn Wilmoth, and Wesley Wilmoth; 11 great-grandchildren; and her nephews and a niece.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held later.
