Dorothy Jean (DeBoard) Dunn

Dorothy Jean Dunn, 92, of Blanchester, Ohio transitioned into Paradise at 10:43 PM, Sunday, August 11, 2024.  Her husband, Rev. Valentine Dunn, preceded her in death.  They were married June 3, 1949.  She was born April 15, 1932 in Harveysburg, Ohio, daughter of the late Anna DeBoard.  Mrs. Dunn was a member of the Church of God.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Beverly (James) Hoverman of Wilmington, Ohio and Carolyn V. Dunn of Hillsboro, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Ayers, Rebecca (Michael) Allen, Alex Valentine Dunn, and Valerie Jean Kittle; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.  A funeral service with Rev. Calvin Martin officiating will begin at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday.  Burial will be in Clarksville Cemetery.
