Dustin Hively, 32, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020. He was born February 9, 1988 in Wilmington, Ohio the son of Beverly Hively Haynes of Martinsville, Ohio and Roger Dale Spurlock of Georgia. He was a graduate of Blanchester High School.
Dustin had worked as a tree trimmer for Aspen Tree Service and Nelson Tree Service. He had also worked at Ahresty in Wilmington. He was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his mother and father, Dustin is survived by three daughters, Jamie Hively, Hailey Hively, and Kiley Hively; his stepfather, Edward Haynes; a brother, Kenneth Edward Cochran Jr. of Wilmington, Ohio; three stepbrothers, Derek Haynes of Wilmington, Ohio, Eddie Haynes of Georgia, and Eric Haynes of Florida; the mother of his children, Kara Cluxton, of Lynchburg, Ohio; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. A funeral service with Pastor Larry Stewart officiating will begin at 1:00 PM, Saturday. Burial will follow in Westboro Cemetery.
