Elizabeth Ellen (Stingley) Wall

Elizabeth Ellen Stingley Wall, 90, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Sunday, March 1, 2026, surrounded by her family.  Elizabeth was born September 17, 1935, in Wilmington, Ohio, the daughter of the late Raymond and Reba Stingley.

Elizabeth is survived by her son, Thomas (Donna) Wall of Wilmington; daughters, Debra Henry of Martinsville, Constance Wall of Wilmington and Dianna (Michael) Wiswell of Wilmington; grandchildren Lisa (Tony) Camacho, Kevin (Bekah) Wall, Ryan Wall, Hillary (Andy) Battrell, Rebecca (Dan) Lawson, Jill (Tony) Naylor, Tyler (Sheena) Henry, Jenna (Ryan) Carter, Lane (Sarah) Wiswell, Emily (Luke Hummelgard) Wiswell; great grandchildren, Amelia, Isabel and Leo Camacho, Zymri and Harper Wall, Nicholas and Abbigayle Battrell, Ava and Jett Naylor, Hudson and Evelyn Henry and Addison Hummelgard; and sisters, Barbra Davis of Wilmington and Janet Huffman of Xenia.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Wall; son-in-law, Timothy Henry; brother, Raymond “Junior” Stingley; sisters, Dorothy Devoe, Ruth Kohlmorgan and Jean Hartsock; and great-grandson, Banks Hummelgard. 

Elizabeth “Betty” was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, having spent the better half of her life as homemaker; she was an active member of the Kentucky Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to taking care of her home, she enjoyed spending time with her family, taking rides out in the country reminiscent of her upbringing, watching the birds at the feeder from the comfort of her living room chair and looking at the flowers that come in bloom in the spring (carnations were her favorite). 

Betty will be missed immensely, but her legacy will live on through her children and their children and their children. 

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
