F. Russell Hayslip, 79, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away peacefully 1:45 AM, Thursday, November 12, 2020 after a lengthy battle with kidney disease. His wife, Joan M. Hayslip, preceded him in death October 24, 2020. They were married March 24, 1974. He was born December 3, 1940 in Clarksville, Ohio, son of the late Clarence and Lucy McGeorge Hayslip.
Mr. Hayslip retired from Wisco Products in Dayton where he worked as a punch press operator. He was an active member of Trinity Full Gospel Church in Sabina and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include daughters, April (Bob) Kucharski of Louden, Adams Co. Ohio, Candie (Steve) Young of Martinsville, Ohio, and Lisa (Mike) Crowe of Blanchester, Ohio; sons, Tony Hayslip of Franklin, Ohio and Don Hayslip of Florida; five brothers; seven sisters; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, one brother is preceded in death.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday, November 16, 2020 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. A funeral service with Pastor Carey Hilterbran will begin at 1:00 PM, Monday. Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
