Gregory S Vincent

Gregory S. Vincent, 58, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023.  He was born March 24, 1964 in Canton, New York, the son of Lucinda Vincent.  After his mother’s death, he was adopted by his grandparents, Edmond Vincent Sr. and Eleanor Vincent.  He was a graduate of Clifton-Fine Central School in Star Lake, New York.  On October 19, 2002, Greg married the love of his life, Rachel R. Ross.

Over his career, Greg worked at Cast-Fab Technologies in Cincinnati and was also the owner-operator of GSV Electric in Wilmington.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and attended the Wilmington Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Vincent; children, Devon Curtis of Lynchburg, Ohio and Danielle Ross of Wilmington, Ohio; grandchildren, Marleigh Ross and Rieleigh Avery; and siblings, Diana Vincent of Canton, New York, Edmond (Paula) Vincent Jr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Karen (Doug) Baxter of Canton, New York, Karla (Paul) Pryce of Potsdam, New York, and Debora Cureton of Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucinda Vincent; adoptive parents, Edmond Vincent Sr. and Eleanor Vincent; and brothers, Bobby Vincent, Donald Vincent, and Kenneth Vincent.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Friday, February 10, 2023 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.
