Howard I "H. I." Wright

Howard I. “H. I.” Wright, 88, of Sabina, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Howard was born March 14, 1937 in Ross, Ohio.

Howard retired as a truck driver from Roadway. He was a loving, caring man that would do anything to help anyone in need. 

He is now in heaven with his wife Carol, his 2 daughters, and his brothers and sisters. 

He is survived by his children, Dwayne (Gretchen) Wright, Doug Washburn, Tom (Debby) Washburn, Kathy (Rodney) Warline, Regina (Herb) Nose, and Jim (Regina) Davis; grandchildren, Savannah Self, Zak Grimes, Sierra Mills, James (Melinda) Davis, and 

Brandon (Monika) Davis; and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his special friend and sister in Christ, Ruth Ann Brandenburg. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bowersville where he will be laid to rest next to his wife.
