JOHNIE GARRISON Obituary

Johnie C. Garrison, 79, of Wilmington, Ohio died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Garrison was born December 19, 1931 in Brown County, Ohio, son of the late Oscar Charles Garrison and Grace Marie Vilvance Garrison. He served in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne during the Korean War. Mr. Garrison is survived by three sons, Steven (Cindy) Garrison of Georgetown, Ohio, Chris Garrison of Midland, Ohio, and Johnie Garrison of Wilmington, Ohio; a daughter, Cindy (Bill) Enger of Martinsville, Ohio; two brothers, Oscar Garrison Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio and George Garrison of Lynchburg, Ohio; a sister, Alberta Jones of Xenia, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Pastor James Koerber officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.
