Janet Lee Lopetz, 88, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at her residence. Her husband, Fred Lopetz, preceded her in death January 19, 1974. She was born January 15, 1935 in Clinton County, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold and Vivian Walker Morris, and was a graduate of Wilmington High School.
Mrs. Lopetz was the owner operator of Xenia Avenue Market for many years. She was an avid bowler and loved spending time with her family.
Janet is survived by two daughters, Catherine (Harold) Gross of Harveysburg, Ohio and Karen Lopetz of Wilmington, Ohio; a son, Craig (Nicola) Lopetz of Melbourne Beach, Florida; four grandchildren, Rebecca Ellen (Todd) Wheeler, Amber Lauren (Dave) Murphy, Christian Lopetz, and Sebastian Lopetz; two great-grandchildren, Carter James Murphy and Camden Cecil Murphy; brother-in-law, Wayne Sprouse; sister-in-law, Wilma Kocher; and several special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, a sister, Marjorie Ann Sprouse, is preceded in death.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. If desired, contributions in Janet’s memory can be made to Community Care Hospice, 1669 Rombach Ave., Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
