Janice M (Jordan) Burton

Janice M. Burton, 89, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Wilmington Nursing & Rehabilitation Residence.  Her husband, Donald E. Burton, preceded her in death November 27, 2022.  They were married on October 16, 1953.  She was born June 22, 1933 in New Burlington, Ohio, daughter of the late Bert and Maggie Miller Jordan.

Mrs. Burton was a secretary for 8 years at Cowan Lake State Park and for 15 years at Caesar Creek State Park. She was a member of the Wilmington Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Kay Burton, Kathy Sue Buckland, Karen Ann Burton, and Karla June (Travis) Corzatt; a grandson, James Buckland; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, three brothers, Paul Jordan, Eldon Jordan, and Woodrow Jordan; and two sisters, Edith Wilson and Ethel Sheets; are preceded in death.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM, Thursday, April 20, 2023 at the Wilmington Church of Christ, 909 W. Locust Street, Wilmington, Ohio.  A funeral service with Dale McCamish & Travis Corzatt officiating will begin at 11:30 Thursday.  Burial will follow in Clinton County Memory Gardens.
