Janice M (Fisher) Stephenson

Janice M. Stephenson, 91, of Wilmington, Ohio (formerly of Medway, Ohio) passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 at Wilmington Nursing & Rehabilitation Residence.  Her husband, Lester E. Stephenson, preceded her in death October 4, 2015.  They were married October 3, 1958.  She was born February 5, 1932 in Martinsville, Ohio, daughter of the late Benjamin H. and Ruby Carter Fisher. 

Janice was a graduate of Martinsville High School and retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

She is survived by her niece, Susan (Gary) Frazier and their son, Russell Frazier, and nephew, Tony Davis and his son Thomas Davis.  In addition to her husband and parents, a brother, Max B. Fisher, and an infant brother, Richard Fisher, preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM, Friday, March 3, 2023 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.  A funeral service with Chaplain Jeff Davis officiating will begin at 1:00 PM, Friday.  Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
