Jerry Eugene Robinett

Jerry Eugene Robinett, 77, of Clarksville, went home to be with the Lord January 30, 2022 at the Ohio Veteran’s Home, Georgetown, Ohio.  He was born January 23, 1945 in South Lebanon, Ohio, the son of Donna Weis Robinett of Clarksville and the late Harold Robinett.  He married Diana Baldridge Robinett, his loving wife of 48 years, November 9, 1968.  Diana preceded him in death April 25, 2017.

Jerry retired from General Motors.  He was a graduate of Kings High School and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.  He enjoyed attending Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington with his wife.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Jerry is survived by his loving children, Marcy Robinett of Lebanon, Ohio and Doug (Joy) Robinett of Wilmington, Ohio; two grandsons, Ethan Robinett and Eli Robinett; and his loving siblings, Bob (Denise) Robinett, Dave (Debbie) Robinett, Jim (Diane) Robinett, Sue Hockett, and John (Pam) Robinett.  Besides his father, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Wally Hockett.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday, February 7, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.  A funeral service with Pastor Josh Dixon officiating will begin at 1:00 PM, Monday.  Burial will follow in Clarksville Cemetery.
