Joan M. Hayslip, 72, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away peacefully Saturday, October 24, 2020 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Her husband, Russell Hayslip, survives. They were married March 24, 1974. Mrs. Hayslip was born November 28, 1947 in Crawley, West Virginia, daughter of the late Randolph C. Holliday and Nannie Rebecca Heaster Holliday.
Joan was an active member of the Trinity Full Gospel Church in Sabina and organized the church’s prayer chain.
In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by three daughters, April (Bob) Kucharski of Adams Co. Ohio, Candie (Steve) Young of Martinsville, Ohio, and Lisa (Mike) Crowe of Blanchester, Ohio; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. A funeral service with Pastor Carey Hilterbran officiating will begin at 11:00 AM, Thursday. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
