John M. Kemp, 64, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at his residence. His wife, Deborah Hickman Kemp, survives. He was born November 12, 1957 in Wilmington, Ohio the son of Norma Kingery Frye of Lebanon, Ohio and the late Bill Frye.
Mr. Kemp was a retired truck driver and a graduate of Lebanon High School. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Kemp is survived by two sons, John (Toni) Kemp of Delaware, Ohio and Jeremy (Andrea) Kemp of Clarksville, Ohio; a daughter, Magon Didas of Wilmington, Ohio; a brother, Bill (Melinda) Frye of Lebanon, Ohio; and six grandchildren, Caleb, Addy, Tyler, Brooklyn, Alayna, and Bentley.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio followed by a funeral service at 12:00 Noon, Thursday. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Waynesville, Ohio.
