Josephine (Terry) King

Josephine King, 90, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital South.  She was born March 3, 1932 in Heidelberg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Daniel Terry and Dorothy Johnson Terry.

Josephine is survived by her children, Mary Messmar of Waynesville, Ohio, Kathy Cole of Waynesville, Ohio, Karen (Leon) Bailey of Wilmington, Ohio, and Anthony (Renate) King of Delhi, Ohio; grandchildren, Sarah (Adam) Shivers, David (Meghan) Isbel, Anna (Logan) Baker, Nicolas Isbel, and Samantha (Chris) Dordea; and her great-grandchildren, Shiloh, MacKenzie, Cana, Tzadok, Gabriel, Spencer, Lana, and Pearl.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Luther Cole; her second husband, Walter King Sr.; brothers, Charles Terry, James Terry, and Ray Terry; and sisters, Lillian Campbell and Betty Dunigan.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.  A funeral service with Rev. Josephine Allen officiating will begin at 1:00 PM, Thursday.  Interment will be in Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, Ohio at the convenience of the family.
