Joyce Elaine Baker Woodruff, 85, of New Vienna, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Copper Knoll Health & Rehabilitation in Washington Court House surrounded by family, after facing dementia with grace and strength. She was born October 29, 1940 in Oxford, Ohio, daughter of the late Melvin Elmer Baker and Earetta Friend Baker. She and her husband, Tullon Wroten Woodruff, were married March 10, 1960.
Mrs. Woodruff was a homemaker who dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She was a 1958 graduate of Harveysburg High School and a member of the New Vienna Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Tullon Wroten Woodruff, sons, Donald (Jennifer) Woodruff and James (Anne) Woodruff; daughter, Janet Elaine (Donald) Gaddis; brothers, Philip (Nancy) Baker and Stanley (Martha) Baker; sister, Doris (Kelly) Burchett; grandchildren, Joshua (Leah Morgan) Woodruff, Jessica Woodruff Reid, Kyle (Chelsea) Woodruff, Brandon (Beka) Woodruff, Kirstin (Luke) Harris, Erin (Randy) Swain, Samantha Gaddis, and Bradyn Gaddis; and great-grandchildren, Landon Brunck, Tullon Woodruff, Avery Reid, Finnley Reid, Cohen Woodruff, Caden Woodruff, Cayce Woodruff, Wyatt Woodruff, Zane Harris, James Harris, Hank Harris, and Allen Swain.
In addition to her parents, a brother, Luther Baker, is preceded in death.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Thursday, May 28, 2026 at the New Antioch Church of Christ, 1101 Antioch Rd, Wilmington, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be in Clinton County Memory Gardens.
