Judy Kay Taylor Hottinger, 72, of Martinsville, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Bethesda North Hospital. Her husband, Floyd Morris Hottinger, survives. They were married September 28, 1968. She was born August 13, 1949 in Port William, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold Eugene Taylor and Venice M. Fryetag Taylor. She attended Port William School and graduated from Wilmington High School.
Mrs. Hottinger retired from Airborne Express. She was a member of the Martinsville United Methodist Church, was an avid bowler, and loved attending her family’s sporting events.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Harold Ray Hottinger of Chillicothe, Ohio; a daughter, Tammie Virgene Hottinger of Martinsville, Ohio; grandchildren, Sadie Moore, Brittany (Mathew) Atkinson, Ray Hottinger, Ryan (Sarah) Hottinger, Haylee Wright, and Hunter Wright; great-grandchildren, William, Callie, Camden, Abby, Ariel, and Becca; brother, Ralph (Lou) Taylor; sister, Tonya (Steven) Brown; brothers-in-law, Paul (Patty) Hottinger and John (Bev) Hottinger; sister-in-law, Ileen Secrest; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, a sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Emily and Charles Jenkins and Bill Hottinger, are preceded in death.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. A funeral service with Rev. Jonathan Beck officiating, will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, April 25, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Clinton County Memory Gardens.
