Kathryn Mae Hoschar, 70, of New Vienna, Ohio entered eternal rest 2:22 AM, Monday, March 14, 2022 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was born May 24, 1951 in Cottageville, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Clarence Roy and Bernice Alberta Kinzel Shinn.
Kathryn, a graduate of Ripley High School in Ripley WV, was a collector of dolls. She was secretary to the President of the National Bank & Trust before her retirement from the Bank.
Survivors include her husband, Roy R. Hoschar, of 52, years, whom she married May 31, 1969; daughter Tiffany (Andrew) Goff of Lynchburg, Ohio; a son Robert Shadrick Hoschar of New Vienna, Ohio; sisters, Betty Painter of Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Janice Sayre of London, Ohio; a brother, Roy Lincoln Shinn of Sandyville, West Virginia; grandchildren, Savannah Kuhn and Tony Alexander Sheridan Hoschar; step grandchildren, Wyatt and Connor Goff; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Sheridan Shane Hoschar.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South St. Wilmington, Ohio. A funeral service with Mike Cowman officiating will begin at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Burial will follow in Miami Valley Cemetery, Centerville, Ohio.
