Kathryn J (Burns) Shattuck

Kathryn J. Shattuck, 75, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away at her residence.  She was born April 23, 1948 in Wilmington, Ohio. Daughter of the late Trumel Isiah Burns and Tressie Beryl Davidson Burns.  Kathryn was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Wilmington.

She is survived by a son, Gary Allen Shattuck; daughters, Margaret Ann “Maggie” Shattuck and Tammy Sue Shattuck (Bob) Sheridan; two grandchildren, Justin Wade Faulkner and Shilee Lynn Shattuck; a great-grandchild, Katelin Nicole Faulkner; several nieces and a nephews; and special nieces, Jeanie Lynn Burns Longstreth and Kimberly Sue Burns Spurlock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Wendall Eugene Burns and Robert Gene Burns; three sisters, Nina Pauline Colwell, Wilma Ruth Altman, and Juanita Jane Earley; and her very special niece, Sharon Kay Altman Mondabaugh.

Honoring their Mother’s wishes, only a graveside service will be held at Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery Saturday July 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
