LUTHER COLE Obituary

Luther Cole, 84, of Wilmington passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at his residence. His wife, Josephine Terry Cole, survives. They were married December 18, 1954. Mr. Cole was born August 22, 1934 in Irvine, Kentucky, son of the late Troy and Mary Abney Cole. He worked for the Cincinnati Rubber Company for 29 years. He then worked at Cincinnati Milacron. In addition to his wife, Mr. Cole is survived by four children, Mary Messmar of Waynesville, Ohio, Kathy (Malcolm) Shutts of Waynesville, Ohio, Karen (Leon) Bailey of Wilmington, Ohio, and Anthony (Renate) King of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Gess (Christine) Cole of Blue Ash, Ohio; a sister, Frieda Flinchum of Irvine, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Sarah (Adam) Shivers, David (Meghan) Isbel, Anna (Logan) Baker, Nicolas Isbel, and Samantha (Chris) Dordea; as well as 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Josephine Allen officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home. Interment will be in Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, Ohio at the convenience of the family.
