Larry L Hunt

Larry L. Hunt, 83, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Monday, November 2, 2020.  His wife, Sharon M. Hunt, preceded him in death January 18, 2018.  They were married June 18, 1976.  He was born December 12, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Bert and Esther Carine Hunt.  He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. 

Early in his career, Mr. Hunt worked at NCR.  He then became a car salesman for Dave Dennis in Dayton and then in Wilmington.  He eventually went on to be a salesman for Bill Martin in Blanchester.

Larry was a member of the Wilmington Church of Christ.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends, whether it was locally or at a lake house in Michigan.  He had been active in a car club in the Dayton area when he was younger.  He absolutely loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren  .

Survivors include his daughter, Donna (Michael) Mullins of Wilmington, Ohio; a brother, Robert (Missy) Hunt of Huber Heights, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kyle (Valerie) Williams of Greenfield, Ohio and Kaitlyn (Charles) Barker of Wilmington, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Porter Williams and Moxley Williams; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, a sister, Shirley Teague, preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Friday, November 6, 2020 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.  A funeral service with Dana Smith officiating, will begin at 12:00 Noon, Friday.  Burial will follow in Clinton County Memory Gardens.
