Larry D Williams

Larry D. Williams, 77, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Monday, September 23, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio.  His wife, Darlene Florea Williams, survives.  They were married November 19, 1966.  He was born March 2, 1947 in Careytown, Ohio, son of the late George and Lora Mae Lute Williams.  He was a graduate of New Kenton High School.

Mr. Williams retired from Siemens in Norwood after working 38 years as a tool and die maker.  Larry was a longtime member of Auburn Community Christian Church.  He was a member and past master of the Morrow Masonic Lodge #265 and the Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati.  He was also a member of the Clinton County Antique Power Club.

In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (John) Louallen of Wilmington, Ohio and Sharon Fackusseh of Wilmington, Ohio; a son, Jeffrey (Yvonne) Williams of Wilmington, Ohio; brother, Glenn Williams of Maineville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Matthew Louallen, Amber (Jordan) Selbee, Hannah Williams, and Daniel Williams; and great-grandchildren, Braylee Louallen and Remi Selbee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason Todd Williams, a sister, Georgia Fields, and his granddaughter, Megan Louallen.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.  A funeral service with Pastor Rindy Matthews officiating will begin at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday.  Burial will be in Auburn Cemetery, Highland County, Ohio.
