Leona M Smith

Leona M. Smith, 87, of Cuba, Ohio passed away Friday, July 4, 2025 at Clinton Memorial Hospital.  She was born March 26, 1938 in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of the late Harley E. Smith and Dollie F. Swabb Smith.  She was a 1956 graduate of Wilmington High School.

Leona began her career at G.C. Murphy.  She then worked at the Randall Company and eventually retired from Walmart.  She was a member of Blanchester Church of the Nazarene and loved working on her family’s genealogy.

Leona is survived by her sister, Carolyn J. Click of Wilmington, Ohio; niece, Amy J. Click; nephew, Michael A. Click; as well as several cousins and numerous friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Ann Smith.

A graveside service with Rev. Paul Crisp officiating will be held 10:30 AM, Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Clinton County Memory Gardens.
