Lloyd E. Carmack, 78, of Wilmington, Ohio went to be with the Lord Monday, July 4, 2022. His wife, Patricia Reid Carmack, survives. They were married March 23, 1963. He was born October 28, 1943 in Booneville, Kentucky.
Mr. Carmack retired after working many years as an electrical lineman. Lloyd was an active member of Bible Baptist Church in Wilmington, where he was known as the “handshaker.”
In addition to his wife, Lloyd is survived by his three children, Mark (Lesley) Carmack of Parrish, Florida, Martina (Jeff) Harris of Morganton, North Carolina, and Rusty (Bonnie) Carmack of Wilmington, Ohio; brothers, James Carmack of New Richmond, Ohio and Jack Carmack of New Richmond, Ohio; six grandchildren, Tyler Carmack, Conner Carmack, Dakota McDonald, Brooklyn Carmack, Max Carmack, and Peyton (Wyatt) Hussong; two great-grandchildren, Lorenzo Carmack and Leia Hussong; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His parents, Herman and Minnie Carmack, five brothers, four sisters, preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Friday, July 8, 2022 at Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington, 55 Megan Drive, Wilmington, Ohio followed by a funeral service with Pastor Josh Dixon officiating at 11:00 AM, Friday. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
