MICHAEL ELAM

Michael Elam, 68, of Wilmington, Ohio died 5:56 AM, Sunday, February 1, 2015 at his residence. His wife, Judy Calhoun Elam, survives. They were married October 7, 1978. Mr. Elam was born January 27, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Kash and Alma Lawson Elam. Mr. Elam worked as a mechanic for several years. He was a member of the Wilmington Friends Meeting, the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Wilmington, and the Sons of the American Legion. He had also been in the Civil Air Patrol and had served in the Ohio State Patrol Auxiliary. In addition to his wife, Mr. Elam is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Boris of Wilmington, Ohio; two grandchildren, Ivy Boris and Krayston Boris; four nephews; as well as great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, a sister, Romayne Hayes, is preceded in death. Mr. Elam will be cremated. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Wilmington Friends Meeting. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206 or a charity of the donor's choice.
