Marjorie Drummond, 93, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Her husband, Dwight E. Drummond, preceded her in death March 1, 2019. They were married November 23, 1947. She was born March 13, 1929 in Hillsboro, Ohio, daughter of the late Francis and Jessie Louise Thatcher Jackson. She was a graduate of Wilmington High School.
Mrs. Drummond retired from the Clinton County Clerk of Courts. She was an active member of the First Christian Church and always assisted with meal preparations in the church. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Brenda Carnahan of Cincinnati, Ohio; son and daughters-in-law, Brian and Tara Drummond of California, Kentucky and Linda Drummond of Richmond, Kentucky; two sisters, Carolyn Bourke of Indianapolis, Indiana and Alice Davis of Ceres, California; three grandchildren, Jason Carnahan, Christa (Josh Todd) Carnahan, and Jeff (Dawn) Drummond; two great-grandchildren, Kennedy Carnahan and Briana (Austin) Tuttle; two great-great-grandchildren, Brooks Tuttle and Brynlee Tuttle; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, a son, Bruce Drummond, and a sister, Clarice Hawk, are preceded in death.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM, Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM, Wednesday. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
