Marlene R Viars

Marlene R. Viars, 82, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital.  She was born January 11, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was a 1957 graduate of Lebanon High School and attended Chester Friends Meeting.

Mrs. Viars is survived by her husband, David E. Viars, whom she married October 12, 1957; her children, Terrie (Patrick) Rourke of Cleveland, Georgia, Eric (Regina) Viars of Lebanon, Ohio, and Cindy (Jeffery) Creigmile of Centerville, Indiana; grandchildren, Andrew Rourke, Michael Rourke, Kiley (Buddy) Whitaker, Sarah (Posey Gruener) Viars, Anna (Andrew) Sheetz, William (Jessie) Viars, Adam Creigmile, Caleb (Ashley) Creigmile, Isaac Creigmile, and Jacob (Megan) Creigmile; and her great-grandchildren, Tyler Rourke, Grayson Rourke, Benjamin Rourke, Elosie Whitaker, Vivien Whitaker, Dorothy Jo Whitaker, Oza Viars, Theodore Viars,

Rosalee Creigmile, Bennett Creigmile, and Blake Creigmile.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda A. Hiatt.

A celebration of Marlene’s life will be held 3:00 PM, June 19, 2022 at Chester Friends Meeting on Gurneyville Road.
