Mary Kathryn (Brown) Crowe

Mary Kathryn Crowe, 81, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026 surrounded by her family.  She was born January 23, 1945 in St. Martin, Ohio, but grew up in Bowersville, Ohio and attended Jamestown Schools.  In February of 1964, she married the love of her life, John Crowe.

Over the years, Mary worked various clerking jobs.  She enjoyed her family and her church.  She and her husband also loved to travel.  Mary was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington where she worked in the church nursery for over 20 years.  Babies were her life.

She is survived by her husband, John Crowe; two sons, Johnny (Ashley) Crowe and Mike (Lisa) Crowe; her grandchildren, Jacob (Ashleigh) Crowe, Christy (Jeremy) Brister, Michelle Crowe, Daniel Crowe, Rebecca Crowe, and Tanya Crowe; great-grandchildren, Maddison Brister, Adalyn Brister, Ayden Brister, Kathryn Brister, Lauren Brister, Jocelyn Brister, Aliah Knoche, Lili Knoche, Gabriel Crowe, Alina Crowe, Paisleigh Crowe, William Crowe, Brody Crowe, Kellin Crowe, Ayden Crowe, and Alexis Crowe; a sister, Phylis (Keith) Rose; and her nephew, Brandon (Jenna) Pichot.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Brown and Lucille Kelly Brown; brothers, Philip Brown and Paul Brown; and sisters, Gloria Harper, Eileen Brown, and Connie Pichot.

Mary’s family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington, 55 Megan Drive, Wilmington, Ohio.  A funeral service with Pastor Josh Dixon officiating will begin at 1:00 PM, Thursday.  Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.
