MaryAlyce Alexander , 92, of Huber Heights passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born May 19, 1930 in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of the late Newton B. Hamilton and Alice C. Lewis Hamilton. She retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base where she had worked as the secretary to the general.
She is survived by daughters, Ronda (Stephen) Jackson of Huber Heights, Ohio and Robin (Carl) Vinson of Wilmington, Ohio; sister, Kimberly Ealy; brother, Cortez (Gaylene) Hamilton; grandchildren, Vincent Hunter, Erik Hunter, Tiara Hunter, Asia Newton, Tracey Vinson, Deon Vinson, and De’shawn Vinson; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William Johns; sisters AlmaJane Hillman and Gertrude Netter; and a brother, Ronald Hamilton.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM – 12:00 Noon, Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. A graveside service will follow at Miller Cemetery on Gano Road.
