Pamela Sue Tucker, 63, of Lafayette, Indiana (formerly of Wilmington) passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Franciscan Hospital East in Lafayette, Indiana. She is survived by her beloved husband, Mark Alan Tucker. They were married on October 13, 1990. She was born May 6, 1960 in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of the late Corless Sherman Storer and Phyllis Carolyn Akers Storer.
Mrs. Tucker had worked as a cytogenetics technologist at Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and for the State of Ohio Department of Development Technology Division. She received her Bachelor of Arts in microbiology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Pam was a creative soul who enjoyed and excelled in her art, photography, and poetry. She drew inspiration for her art from the people and things in her life and from the world around her.
In addition to her husband, Pam is survived by a sister, Sherry Storer of Wilmington, Ohio; two brothers, James Storer of Wilmington, Ohio and David (Melissa) Storer of Wilmington, Ohio; her stepmother, Sherry Storer of Clarksville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, a sister, Paula Hudson, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. A memorial service with Pastor John Wirmel officiating will begin at 1:00 PM, Saturday.
