Peggy (Barnett) Lindsay

Peggy Lindsay, 88, of Venice Florida (formerly of Wilmington, Ohio) passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Liana of Venice in Florida.  Her husband, Jack L. Lindsay preceded her in death December 3, 2019.  Mrs. Lindsay was born September 21, 1934 in Pennington, Virginia, daughter of the late Gilbert Barnett and Lura Coffman Barnett.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Sue (Tom) Davis of Venice, Florida; sisters, Betty Smallwood of Spring Valley, Ohio, Lois Ann Sheriden of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Wilma Johnson of Miamisburg, Ohio; a brother, Ronnie Barnett of Clarkville, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Tom (Alison) Davis, Marc (Jordan) Davis, and Steve (Sarah) Davis; and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Peggy’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
