Phyllis Borror

Phyllis Borror, 100, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at Ohio Living Cape May.  Her husband, Rodger O. Borror, preceded her in death November 9, 2007.  They were married August 9, 1941.  She was born August 28, 1920 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Fred Postle and Elsie Ashton Postle.

Mrs. Borror studied music at The Ohio State University and was a pianist, organist, and vocalist.  She was a member of the Wilmington Rotary Club, Snow Hill Country Club, and the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington.

Survivors include her son, Ronald (Sue Colgan) Borror of Maine; son-in-law, Mike Casey of Nevada; grandchildren, Laura Shearin of Nevada, Randall Borror of North Carolina, Julie Marshall of North Carolina, Michelle Sandoval of Nevada, Dawn Laverde of California, Kaitlin Borror of New York, Shannon Carlson of Connecticut, Remy Borror of New York, and Rylan Borror of New York; great-grandchildren, Taylor McLean of Nevada, Kyle Halladay of North Carolina, Alex Simpson of Nevada, Benjamin Heskett of Nevada, Logan Halladay of North Carolina, Michael Laverde of California, Katherine Heskett of Nevada, Ryan Laverde of California, Andrew Sandoval of Nevada, Chloe Sandoval of Nevada, Haleigh Sandoval of Nevada, Finley Carlson of Connecticut, MacKenzie Carlson of Connecticut, Luke Borror of North Carolina, Kayla Borror of North Carolina, Alyssa Borror of North Carolina, and Benjamin Borror of North Carolina; and great-great-grandchildren, Connor McLean of Nevada and Troy McLean of Nevada.

In addition to her husband and parents, a daughter, Karen Casey, and four sisters and four brothers-in-law, Martha & Graydon Evans, Helen & Morgan Bates, Freda & Melvin Koch, and Jean & Jack Lett, are preceded in death.

A graveside service in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio will be held at the convenience of the family.
