Ralph D. Harding

Ralph D. Harding, 65, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at his residence.  Mr. Harding was born January 13, 1955 in Wilmington, Ohio, son of the late Ralph and Edna Marie Roberson Harding.  He was a graduate of Wilmington High School where he was the first Black quarterback for the WHS football team.

Mr. Harding retired from Bob Evans Restaurant in Wilmington.  He enjoyed sports and loved to fish.

Mr. Harding is survived by a son, Terrance Harding of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Lenora (Larry) Banks of Columbus, Ohio, Patricia Fannin of Indiantown, Florida, and Margaret Ruth (John) Jones of Wilmington, Ohio; and a special friend, Doreene Cassell Cowin.

In addition to his parents, a brother, Warren Neal Harding, and a brother-in-law, Waldo Fannin, are preceded in death.

A graveside service with Rev. Byron McGee officiating will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.
