Rand T. "Randy" Hilderbrandt

Rand T. “Randy” Hilderbrandt, 59, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash.  His wife, Michelle Smith Hilderbrandt, survives.  They were married August 31, 1985.  Mr. Hilderbrandt was born August 27, 1961 in Xenia, Ohio, the son of Richard and Frances Rumbaugh Hilderbrandt of Xenia, Ohio.

A graduate of Xenia High School and Antioch University, Randy had been employed by Unison Industries for over 30 years.  He enjoyed working on cars and was an avid Columbus Blue Jackets fan.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a daughter, Lauren (Brian Barker) Hilderbrandt of Washington Court House, Ohio; two sons, Evan (Kristina) Hilderbrandt of Wilmington, Ohio and Austin Hilderbrandt of Wilmington, Ohio; two brothers, Rick Hilderbrandt of Illinois and Rodney (Deneese) Hilderbrandt of Waynesville, Ohio; two sisters, Rebecca Hilderbrandt of Jamestown, Ohio and Rhonda (William) Thomas of Xenia, Ohio; a granddaughter, Peyton Hilderbrandt; mother-in-law, Ginny (Terry) Grooms; father-in-law, Jack (Sandra) Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio followed by a funeral service at 12:00 Noon.
