Robert J Rappach

Robert J. Rappach, 71, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at his residence.  His wife, Linda Sayler Rappach, survives.  They were married September 12, 1970.  Mr. Rappach was born July 3, 1950 in Warren, Ohio, son of the late Charles and Sue Kozak Rappach.  He was a 1968 graduate of Matthews High School in Vienna and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

Mr. Rappach was an independent claims adjuster who owned and operated Midwest Claims LTD.  He loved fishing, gardening, and working on cars.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Rappach is survived by three sons, Robert (Stephenie) Rappach of Wilmington, Ohio, Brian (Shannon) Rappach of Springboro, Ohio, and Scott (Nicole) Rappach of Mason, Ohio; a brother, Joseph Rappach of Vienna, Ohio; a sister, Shirley (Bob) Criteser of Colorado; seven grandchildren, Brady, Brock, Candace, Colton, Gavin, Ty, and Reagan; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, a brother, William Rappach, is preceded in death.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.  A memorial service with Chaplain Wendell Rome officiating will begin at 4:00 PM, Sunday.  Interment will be in Clinton Memory Gardens at the convenience of the family.
