Robert V Robinson

Robert V. Robinson, 97, of Martinsville, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026.  He was born June 19, 1929 in Big Rock, Illinois, son of the late Roy and Gladys Bowles Robinson.  Mr. Robinson was a 1947 graduate of Martinsville High School and served in the U.S. Army.  He married his wife, Mondalee Robinson, December 20, 1948.  She preceded him in death November 26, 2016.

Mr. Robinson retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base where he had worked as a civil engineer.  Robert was an active member of the Northside Church of Christ in Hillsboro.  He enjoyed fishing and traveling.

Survivors include his sons, Matthew (Jackie) Robinson of Lynchburg and Marcus (Nancy) Robinson Sr. of Blanchester; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Marsha Kay Douglas; and a great-grandchild, Sage Leigh Robinson.

A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM, Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at the Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
