Roger B Moore

Roger B. Moore, 65, of Wilmington Ohio, passed away May 24, 2024 at his home.

He was born April 7, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Fred G. Moore and Kathryn Swisshelm Moore. Roger was a graduate of Colerain High School and attended the University of Kentucky.

He was proudly old school in every aspect of his life.  He was a member of the First Christian Church.  Over his career, Roger worked for various nurseries and greenhouses. He enjoyed spending time on the family farm with his dear friends David and Jean Deal.

He was an avid restorer and collector of a variety of period pieces. Roger was constantly at work on an eclectic selection of classic farm tractors, boats, and bicycles.

Roger's most remarkable collection was the durable friendships he built over six decades.

Preceded in death by his parents, Roger leaves behind a community of heartbroken friends. The Deals, who shared his love for the farm, will miss him greatly. The loss is also deeply felt by the 'Cumberland Crew,' a group that he 'captained' for decades on annual trips to Lake Cumberland.

A graveside service will be held 11:30 AM, Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio.
