Roger L. Robinson Sr.

Roger L.  Robinson Sr., 84, of Hillsboro, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025.  His wife, Jane Ellen Robinson, preceded him in death January 5, 2019.  They were married November 14, 1965.  He was born August 3, 1940 in Wilmington, Ohio, son of the late Carl Robinson and Faye Bowles Robinson. 

Mr. Robinson retired in 1994 after a long career at General Motors.  He was a veteran of the United Stated Army and enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.

Survivors include his daughters, Lori (Mark) McKee of Hillsboro and Patti Garland of Wilmington; sons, Terry Robinson of Hillsboro and Roger Robinson Jr. of Hillsboro; a brother, Jimmy Robinson of Martinsville; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio followed by a funeral service at 12:00 Noon Thursday.  Burial will be in Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
